What Customers Say About ColdHeat 25112 Cordless Pro Soldering Tool:
|
|
Remember to let the heat pull the solder (don't put solder on the tip) heat the wire.Enjoy also, wrapping difficult to hold connections with 28ga wire makes it easy. Much better than the standard version, I always use high power mode.It eats batteries and seems to work better with rechargeables than Alkaline.Normal mode is white light on, red and white while soldering. If both are on when not soldering, batteries are low.If both go out while soldering, batteries are low. With low batteries, it is worthless.Don't get anything between the edges of the tip, it is VERY fragile and chipping it will kill the tip. Keep spare tips on hand.It doesn't cool down instantly, so be careful.Third hand devices (clips on a stand) are invaluable for soldering.
